Outstanding 36-Day Sri Lanka Experience with Overa Tours

Review of Overa Tours by 00JANIMAL00 · Sydney, Australia
Reviewed · Date of experience:

I cannot recommend Overa Tours highly enough. We travelled through Sri Lanka for 36 unforgettable days, visiting Colombo, Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa, Ella, Yala, Mirissa, Bentota, Galle, Negombo, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, and Kandy, and every detail of the journey was handled with exceptional care and professionalism.

From the very beginning, both Lakshi & Nazz (Operations Executive) was absolutely brilliant. Our trip was planned over more than four months, and throughout that entire time — before, during, and even after the trip — Nazz was responsive, thoughtful, organised, and genuinely invested in creating the best possible experience for my family. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of him.

Both Nazz and Lakshi are outstanding at what they do, and more importantly, they truly care. That genuine care made all the difference to our experience and gave us complete peace of mind.

Our driver, Baasa, stayed with us for the full 36 days and was exceptional. Some of the destinations we travelled to required a very skilled and experienced driver, and Baasa exceeded expectations every single day. He always prioritised our safety, both on the road and when arriving at destinations. As a parent travelling with children, safety was my biggest priority, and Baasa made us feel secure and well looked after at all times.

Even when unexpected challenges arose — including having to rearrange destinations just a week before the trip due to recent floods — Overa Tours handled everything seamlessly. So much care, effort, and attention went into reworking the itinerary to ensure we still had a smooth, memorable journey. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

If you are thinking about travelling to Sri Lanka, book with Overa Tours. What truly sets them apart is that they genuinely care about you and your experience — not just the itinerary.

Thank you, Nazz, Lakshi, and Baasa, for creating such a memorable journey for our family. We will cherish these memories forever.
